Johnny Appleseed Day in Kindergarten 🍎

4th grade learned a lot about Utah's 5 Native American Tribes! We had fun wrapping up the unit with some fun Native American projects!

Our 2nd graders did a fun activity where they made Chinese new year dragons for knowledge (early Asian civilizations).
We appreciate all our teachers do to make learning fun and engaging!

Third grade has been learning all about animals. Today we dove deeper into learning about birds. We talked about bird beaks and how different beaks are better for different types of food!

Last week 4th grade was able to go on a fun field trip to pioneer village. We learned a lot about the pioneers and got to see some really cool things!

Nebo District is offering a mental health screener for students on the evening of September 29, 2025, at Diamond Fork Middle School from 4 pm to 8 pm. Students in grades 3-5 may participate to be screened for mental and emotional strengths, anxiety, depression, and trauma using the Terrace Metrics Software.

Our counselor, Mrs. Swenson, visited all classes this month to reintroduce her theme for the year: Character Traits! She led fun, interactive lessons in each grade, exploring what character traits are, why they matter, and how we can build strong character. She’s excited to continue focusing on different traits throughout the year. We want all East Meadows students to feel empowered and proud of who they are on the inside.
