We had 2 of our FAVORITE assemblies last week. First, was our rodeo reading assembly to kick off our literacy month. Complete with real cowboy action, including a team roping contest! Second, was the Cougar BUILT assembly. We love this fun filled assembly where we are taught the 4 pillars: Love, Learn, Connect and Work!! Seeing the BYU dunk team is always a blast!

Our 2nd annual 5th Grade Conference was a huge success! This year’s RISE theme inspired students to be Responsible, Inclusive, Self-Confident, and Enthusiastic. Every 5th grader received custom drawstring bags, lanyards, notebooks, and pens as part of the experience. Powerful messages from Brad Barton, Miss Spanish Fork (Maddy Smith), Chance, and our Don Squad left students feeling motivated and empowered. Their takeaways? “You have to show up to win,” “To have more confidence in myself,” “Treat others how you want to be treated,” “Words matter,” “To never give up,” “Be more enthusiastic about school,” and “To believe in myself.” We’re grateful our 5th graders had this opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired by our amazing speakers!
