We had 2 of our FAVORITE assemblies last week. First, was our rodeo reading assembly to kick off our literacy month. Complete with real cowboy action, including a team roping contest!
Second, was the Cougar BUILT assembly. We love this fun filled assembly where we are taught the 4 pillars: Love, Learn, Connect and Work!! Seeing the BYU dunk team is always a blast!

2nd Grade has been learning about The Human Body. Last week we did an experiment about digestion! We had so much fun watching to see crackers disappear in Sprite….learning about what happens to the food we eat!

Our 2nd annual 5th Grade Conference was a huge success! This year’s RISE theme inspired students to be Responsible, Inclusive, Self-Confident, and Enthusiastic. Every 5th grader received custom drawstring bags, lanyards, notebooks, and pens as part of the experience. Powerful messages from Brad Barton, Miss Spanish Fork (Maddy Smith), Chance, and our Don Squad left students feeling motivated and empowered. Their takeaways? “You have to show up to win,” “To have more confidence in myself,” “Treat others how you want to be treated,” “Words matter,” “To never give up,” “Be more enthusiastic about school,” and “To believe in myself.” We’re grateful our 5th graders had this opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired by our amazing speakers!

We want to recognize our amazing 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Treanor, for being selected as our teacher of the year! Mrs. Treanor is an amazing educator who loves her students and is committed to their success.

We would like to give a special shout out to our awesome principal, Mrs. Jordan. She was recently awarded the Student Advocate Principal of the Year-

We are so grateful for Mrs. Jordan and all that she does for our school.

Team 2 Mustang Pride Squad had an amazing time at the 2nd Annual "Rise of the Dons" Leadership Conference! This year’s theme, “Driven to Lead,” inspired our students as they joined breakout sessions led by the Spanish Fork High School student council and heard from keynote speaker Jordan Stephenson. Thanks to @spanishforkhigh for hosting such a fun and empowering event! #MustangPride #DrivenToLead
